I first got interested in crystals and their benefits when I worked in a Holistic therapy business some ten years ago. There we sold crystal tumble stones, various stand alone crystals and (the start of my interest in working with crystals) Gem trees. We soon discovered that we could create the Gem trees ourselves cheaper and prettier than the ones we were buying in. They were very popular. Each piece that I create is entirely unique as I design as I go without any drawings or prior planning. Mind you I do spend quite a lot of time studying what jewellery people that I meet are wearing and I spend a lot of my TV viewing time gazing at the necks of presenters and actresses to see if I can adapt those pieces into what I do. Until recently I did not record any of the items I had made so repeats were never going to happen. Now I do take a photograph of each necklace that I make to remind me of the crystals and beads that I have used. A hobby that is beginning to pay for itself. |

These were created using 4 wires and a half twist effect, using small garnet chips and varying sizes of seed beads.

with a sense of self worth.
This necklace was created using a combination of tiny beads, lovely flat pearl
effect pink beads and small rose quartz chips for a subtle
day to evening item.

Sea bamboo has a calming and soothing effect on the wearer.
This the longer of the two necklaces comprises Small glass beads intertwined with tiny red seed beads to bring
out the warm tones of the Sea Bamboo.
