Hi! I'm Jayn Warner, and I've been designing and making jewellery for about 20 years! I started because I couldn't buy the things I wanted to wear, and then took a long break from it whilst travelling and having my three boys! About 4 years ago, people started to ask me to make things for them and it's taken off from there. For me its all about the beads - whenever I open a new bag, I can see the things I will make, just by looking at the beads. I love glass - it's fluidity, it's weight, it's coolness and the way it gleams. I make necklaces, earrings and bracelets, mainly with silver plate, using sterling on request. Tried silversmithing, but decided it wasn't for me - costume jewellery is what I love and am so lucky to be able to have been able to turn my hobby into a job! It also gets me out of the housework - how much better can it get!!
I take inspiration from all sorts of things, the garden, pictures, colours and seasons. As to prices - I believe that costume jewellery should be fun and affordable, and that we should all have lots of it!!
