I am self taught in the jewellery making business due mainly I think to my stubbornness (if that's even word!) not to let anything beat me!
I remember buying my first beads and some earring and leather thong (not the knicker kind!) from the only beading shop there probably was in Belfast and I sat down with a plastic box, a pair of pliers and a "how to" sheet given to me by the bead shop to get me started. Many a pair of pliers I have broken, many a finger nail and many a pair of shoes due to stamping my feet in frustration but determination and pure pig-headedness won over and here I am.
I seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession with Beadalon beading wire (other brands are available), I love the way it drapes when worn and the delicate nature of it I think makes it look gorgeous so you will see a lot of my designs revolve around the exposed wire look.
I make all things beaded, from necklaces to watches, glasses chains to brooches. I try to sell mainly at small craft events, anywhere there are likely to be people and space for me, much to my hubby's despair as it is he who puts my stall up for me, stands guard and makes the tea (he really does make the best cuppa!)
I do custom work so if there is anything you like the look of but would like a different colour, a different style or just fancy something else please contact me and I will see what I can do for you.

Gorgeous beaded watch featuring rectangular antique silver plated Quartz watch face with Swarosvki Crystal silver plated slider beads with pale sapphire blue crystal insert, a mix of foil lined pale blue, denim glass pearls and Czech firepolished pale sapphire beads with tibetan silver style spacers and finished using a silver plated toggle clasp.
